Australian Embassy staff doing their bit for a cleaner environment

Australian Embassy staff joined the Ambassador and donned disposable gloves to participate in cleaning up our little corner of the world in Green Close, Borrowdale as part of the Clean Up the World Campaign 2014. The campaign runs from 19 to 21 September. Other embassies, which are part of the Greenmongers (a group of like-minded diplomatic missions actively involved in protecting the environment), will also be undertaking some form of GREEN initiative this weekend. Ambassador Neuhaus encouraged all Zimbabweans to get behind this international initiative and was impressed by the way in which members of the public had joined the embassy staff as they moved down Green Close.

Contributing to Clean Up the World 2014 can be reported to Clean and Green Zimbabwe in Harare who will ensure your initiative appears on the Clean Up the World map.
